Do you come to me?

Yes. Forensic Finish is a mobile service. We work at your home, apartment, or workplace anywhere in our service area around Victorville, California. Just make sure the vehicle is parked somewhere we can safely work around all four sides.

Do you need my water and power?

Accepted Answer

Mobile service requires customer-provided access to both a working outdoor water faucet/spigot and a standard grounded electrical outlet within reach of the vehicle. If both are not available, we cannot perform the service at that location.

How much does a detail cost?

The price shown for your selected service is the price you’ll book. If we find that your vehicle needs work outside the selected service, we’ll explain it first and get your approval before starting any additional work.

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

An interior or exterior detail typically runs a few hours. A complete detail often takes a half day or longer. Headlight restoration is usually one to two hours. We give you a time estimate when we confirm your appointment.

Question 5

What if my vehicle needs more work than we booked?

Accepted Answer

We stop and show you. If a vehicle needs work beyond the booked service — heavy pet hair, deep staining, biohazard-level soiling — we explain the options and the added cost, and we only continue with your approval.

What happens if it rains or the weather turns?

Accepted Answer

High Desert wind, heat, and rain all affect results. If conditions would compromise the work, we will contact you to reschedule at no charge. There is no penalty for weather on either side.

Question 7

Can you guarantee my headlights will look new?

Accepted Answer

No, and we won't claim otherwise. Oxidation, cloudiness, and yellowing can often be improved substantially. Internal damage, cracks, delamination, moisture inside the housing, severe UV damage, or a previous coating can limit results. We inspect first and tell you what to expect before we start.

How do I pay?

Payment is handled through our payment provider at the time of service. We never collect or store card numbers on this website.

How do I reschedule or cancel?

Email hello@forensicfinish.com as early as you can and we will move your appointment. We ask for reasonable notice so the time can be offered to someone else.

Question 10

Do you work on trucks, vans, and larger vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Larger vehicles take more time and product, so size is one of the factors in your quote. Include your year, make, and model when you reach out and we will price it accurately.
